At Skidaddle we pride ourselves in the work that we do with other organisations and in the partnerships that we form in order to maximise the benefit of our services and others.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
-Helen Keller
‘We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Skidaddle to promote the benefits outdoor exercise can have to your mental and physical health.
We’re very lucky to have all this wonderful countryside in Scotland to enjoy for all ages and abilities but many people don’t realise the great benefits getting outdoors can have to how you are feeling.
We receive around 6,000 calls each month to the Breathing Space phone service, from people feeling low, anxious or stressed. Looking after yourself through regular exercise and talking to friends, family or a helpline about how you’re feeling are great first steps.
We believe Skidaddle events play a key part in contributing to the improved mental health of people in Scotland.’
- Tony Mclaren (National Coordinator)
